The Pneumonia Road 1 site (site code: DR67BARL1/6084019) was assessed on the 17 and 18 March 2021.

Only aquatic biota and water quality was assessed, using the standard methods from the South West Index of River Condition.

Fish and crayfish

Two fish and one crayfish species were found during the March 2021 assessment.

  • Tandanus bostocki (Freshwater cobbler)
  • Perca fluviatilis (Redfin perch) – non-native
  • Cherax cainii (Smooth marron)

Only fish and crayfish are targeted by sampling methods. Other species that were caught and/or observed are listed below:

  • Palaemon australis (South-west glass shrimp)
