Murray River - Wyllie Farm Downstream

Basin : Murray River

The Wyllie Farm Downstream site (site code: MR401MURR1/6140314), has been assessed on several occasions:

  • 5-6 May 2021
  • 16-17 November 2021

Field assessments were conducted by Murdoch University's Freshwater Fish Group & Fish Health Unit in collaboration with 5 Rivers NRM (previously Peel Harvey Catchment Council) and the department.

The assessments were conducted using standard methods from the South West Index of River Condition. Measures chosen for this assessment included fish and crayfish, aquatic habitat, water quality (dissolved oxygen, temperature, electrical conductivity, and pH logged over 24h, and colour, alkalinity, turbidity and nutrients), fringing vegetation, channel morphology, erosion, connectivity, local land use and flow.
