Bickley Brook - Upstream Mandarin Road

The condition of the Bickley Brook - Upstream Mandarin Road site (site code: MANDIN), in the middle catchment of  Bickley Brook was assessed between 18 and 19 October 2016, over a 100-m length of stream. The site was also assessed in spring 2011, 2012 and autumn 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016.

The assessment was conducted using standard methods from the South West Index of River Condition. Measures chosen for this assessment only included water quality (dissolved oxygen, temperature, electrical conductivity and pH) logged over 24h.  Other river health parameters were measured at a site 200m at site Bickley Brook - Mandarin Road (site code: BICKBK 07) over the same seasons.

Condition summary

This site was assessed as part of the Urban Waterways Renewal project.
